Turner Grace was born at 2:06 pm weighing 7lbs, 8oz. She and
mom are doing great. She is making her presence known loud and clear!

12:00 More Progress
She's getting ever closer. The doc is coming back in to check on her in about 30-45 minutes. Hopefully we'll get some really good news. Heather's doing well--she's been very light-headed but has since gotten better.
9:45 Good Progress
The doctor is very please with her progress. He's still optimistic that she'll be having the baby after lunch, perhaps around 2:30. The nurse is more optimistic: she thinks around 12:30. Everybody is doing well. I am running off of caffeine from Starbucks.
7:05 Admitted
Well... They worked us in despite us not being on the list. Our ever optimistic doc thinks we'll have the baby by 2:30. Heather is doing well.
5:03 AM: "You're not on the schedule."
That's what they told us this morning (Heather called to make sure that half of Birmingham hadn't gone into labor in the middle of the night--making sure they had room for us). In fact, we weren't on the schedule at all this week. Excellent news!
She did say she would "make something happen" and to be there at 7:00. We're moving forward based on that. More to come...
